It has been a really long time since my last blog; there is so much to catch you guys up on. First of all, if you've been watching country café you have probably noticed that we have a new co-host. Trey just celebrated one year a few weeks ago. It's been a really fun year!
During this past year so much has happened. The best thing being that I turned 21 this past Christmas. Yes, it was almost a year ago, but it was special so I wanted to share it with you all. We took a cruise to Key West and Cozumel, Mexico. We were in Key West December 24th, what a great place to spend your birthday! It is so beautiful there, very colorful. The people are so friendly. We took a tour of the city, on which we saw Hemingway's house as well as the southernmost point of the United States. Pretty cool huh? I chose to eat at the original Margaritaville for my birthday lunch it was awesome by the way. On Christmas day we were in Cozumel. The funniest thing happened though. We had a little incident on the ship the night before we got there so when we got off the ship we had to go to the dentist office. Yes, that's right, we spent Christmas in a Mexican dentist office. It was an interesting experience to say the least. We did get a chance to go to the beach though! In May I graduated from Nash Community with an Associates in Arts degree and transferred to the University of North Carolina Wilmington. I love it there. It's such a beautiful campus and it's only 10 minutes from the beach. How awesome is that? It is an adjustment though. I am living on my own for the first time.
